Battery Pack with integrated speed control and low charge enunciator:

Our customer was developing a product that required a battery-powered blower. They wanted the blower to include five discrete speed steps selected by pressing up and down arrows on the battery pack. Nexergy designed a pack that included the speed control using a high frequency buck regulator and low cost micro-controller with custom firmware. The controller inside the battery pack also signals a vibrator motor to announce to the user that the battery is reaching end of discharge. Nexergy also designed a custom eight bay charger to recharge the battery packs.
