Mr. Turner brings to Nexergy more than thirteen years of experience in strategic development of portable power solutions. For six years, he led battery research and strategic planning in energy technology for Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications USA (SEMC). At SEMC, he was an integral part of the global team that successfully introduced lithium polymer batteries to the consumer electronics market in 1999 and safety circuit free rechargeable lithium batteries in 2003. Prior to SEMC, he worked as a scientist with AER Energy Resources and Gates Aerospace Batteries.
