Design Engineering is a key area of expertise at Nexergy. This expertise enables us to take on responsibility for the entire portable energy system as a whole, as needed. Our engineering team is trained in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to enhance the reliability of our products through better design.

Our Electronic Circuit design team can design and layout application specific battery management and safety circuits as well as charge control circuits and a variety of other options that can enhance the capabilities and value of your portable energy system. We take on the role of design partner for our customers, helping them make their product more efficient to produce and more effective to run, with longer lasting portable power.

Providing complete energy systems
Matching the charger to the battery pack is critical in optimizing charging and run time without sacrificing cycle life or over spending for the entire system. We have developed a family of battery chargers that can be quickly customized to work efficiently with any custom Nickel Metal Hydride, Lithium Ion, or Lithium Polymer battery pack. The chargers are available in both desktop and wall plug-in styles.

Assuring supply
Managing our suppliers is critical to our ability to meet our commitments to our customers. An important part of that success is the direct result of our supplier management system for managing and improving quality and delivery times from our suppliers. The system helps us continuously monitor and improve the performance of and our relationship with our suppliers.

In addition, Nexergy is an authorized reseller of batteries manufactured by the world leaders in portable energy. Our strong relationship with these key suppliers assures our customers of uninterrupted supply of the finest quality batteries available.

Connecting with the leading battery manufacturers
Nexergy is an authorized value added assembler for the most well respected battery manufacturers in the world. As such, our sales and engineering staff receive training in the features, advantages and benefits of batteries manufactured by Sanyo, Panasonic, Enersys, Saft, Energizer, Duracell, Ultralife, Tadiran and Varta.

In addition, we are trained in proper battery storage, packaging, shipping, pack design and assembly—enabling us to offer pass through warranty protection for our customers from these global leaders in the battery industry.

Manufacturing in Low Cost Countries
For those customer applications requiring the advantage of low cost labor, or delivery to a manufacturing location in the far east, we have established strong manufacturing partnerships overseas. These partnerships allow us to provide a cost advantage while Nexergy continues to manage the design, quality and delivery of the product.
